End-User License Agreement for the Free Apps Suite

1. Definitions

"Software" means PySuperFreeApps and the bundled utilities distributed with it, including PyBulkRenamer, PyImageSquisher, PyImageConverter, PyJson2CsvConverter, PyJsonBeautifier, and PyLogExtractor, together with installers, updates, documentation, and supplemental materials that we provide.

"You" means the individual or legal entity downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, ArystoTech Software & AI Systems Ltd. grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal use or your organization's internal business use.

• You may make a reasonable number of copies necessary for installation, backup, and internal deployment.
• This license grants rights to use the Software only; it does not transfer ownership of the Software or any intellectual property rights.

3. Restrictions

Except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you must not:

• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, timeshare, distribute, host, or otherwise make the Software available to third parties as a standalone service.
• Modify, translate, adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive source code from the Software.
• Remove, obscure, or alter copyright notices, trademarks, attribution, or proprietary legends.
• Repackage or redistribute the installer, release files, or bundled assets, except by sharing unmodified links to official release pages.
• Use the Software to develop, test, or support malware, unlawful access, credential abuse, or other harmful activity.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. ArystoTech Software & AI Systems Ltd. and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, patents, design rights, and other intellectual property rights.

5. User Data, Outputs, and Backups

The Software may process filenames, images, SVG assets, JSON payloads, logs, metadata, and other user-supplied materials. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, and suitability of your inputs, outputs, and workflows.

• You are responsible for maintaining backups and recovery procedures for important data before using rename, conversion, compression, extraction, or other file-affecting features.
• You are responsible for validating outputs before relying on them in operational, customer-facing, or production contexts.
• You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful authority needed to process the materials you use with the Software.

6. Updates and Third-Party Components

We may release updates, patches, changes, or replacement builds at our discretion, but we are not obligated to do so. The Software may also contain or rely on third-party or open-source components. Those components may be governed by their own license terms, which control to the extent required by those licenses.

7. Compliance and Export

You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, sanctions, and export-control requirements relating to the download, installation, use, and transfer of the Software. You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer the Software in violation of applicable law.

8. No High-Risk Use

The Software is not designed, intended, or licensed for use in life support, medical diagnosis or treatment, aviation, transportation control, nuclear facilities, emergency response, public safety, legal compliance automation, or any other high-risk environment in which errors, delays, or failures could result in death, personal injury, property damage, regulatory penalties, or significant financial loss.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with all faults and without warranties, conditions, or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, non-infringement, accuracy, security, availability, or results.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArystoTech Software & AI Systems Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, data, use, business opportunity, or business interruption arising out of or relating to the Software, this EULA, or your use or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Software or this EULA will not exceed the greater of CAD $10 or the amount you paid us directly for the specific Software giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Because the Software is generally provided at no charge, you acknowledge that this limitation reflects a reasonable allocation of risk.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ArystoTech Software & AI Systems Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, settlements, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or relating to your misuse of the Software, your violation of this EULA, your violation of law, or your infringement or misappropriation of any third-party rights.

12. Term and Termination

This EULA begins when you first download, install, access, copy, or use the Software and continues until terminated. We may terminate this EULA immediately if you breach it. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. General Provisions

This EULA constitutes the complete agreement between you and ArystoTech Software & AI Systems Ltd. regarding the Software and supersedes prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.

14. Governing Law and Forum

This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta, Canada for disputes arising out of or relating to this EULA or the Software.
